A lake at Red River
You can rent these bicycle Surreys and we had so much fun, but after 1/2 hour we were ready to return ours!! HARD WORK!
Red River
At Angel Fire, we rode up on the ski lift to the peak and there are hiking trails and a restaurant up there. We hiked around for a while, but discovered that a 4 year old's idea of hiking at 10,000 ft. is not the same as ours, so we didn't have quite the adventure we had planned, but it was still fun! The ski-lift ride was the favorite part of the trip for all 3 of us.

At the peak there was this little "chapel". The sign said, "Summit Chapel, Sunday Service 1:30." That's not when we were up there, so we didn't get to attend services, but we thought it was funny anyway.

The last morning we went out in a little paddle boat on a nearby lake. It was quiet and cool and very refreshing. Avery even helped pedal. We had a blast on our trip!

It is good to catch up with you guys!!! (My bad for not doing so more faithfully!) I'm so glad that you guys had such a good vacation and that Avery is enjoying school so much, too. I LOVE the Olympics story and was so glad to read about it again! ;) Love you ALL and hope you are doing well in school and work and packing... ;)
