Arctic Egg Hunt
Well I guess I better report about Easter, because life keeps happening and I seem to keep falling further and further behind! Let me say one word about Easter weekend - COLD!!!! We were in Sulphur Springs on Saturday with Leslie's family and went to the Easter egg hunt at their church - where there were 40,000 eggs! Before the hunt started though, they had bounce houses and fun games for the kids to participate in, with live music and popcorn, cotton candy, etc. It's a great outreach to their community. I'm used to cold weather, but I never expected a windchill in the 30s on Easter, so I did not exactly have the right clothes for us. We were a bit chilly, but we had a very fun day! Here are some photos.

I LOVE her tights!!!! How cute! And, even I could have found eggs at that Easter Egg Hunt . . . too cool!
How fun! Were all 40,000 eggs hidden just like the picture shows, or did someone have to go to a lot more trouble? That is a lot of stinkin' eggs!
Thanks for all the pics!!!
This reminds me of the egg hunts we used to have at Clay's Corner when I was a child, where they just went out and threw kabillions of eggs in the pasture. AND they were CANDY eggs, too, which we never had in the olden days. Ask Avery's Granddad if HE remembers that from Lazbuddie! (If he doesn't we'll know he's REAL old.)
