So glad for friends

It's great to have good friends! We enjoy getting together with Kaidance Wright and her mom Amanda - Kaidance is 6 months younger than Avery, and they have a blast together. The other night Gabe was going to be at work until late, so we offered to go feed the calves for him. But before we went, we took an outing to the park so I could keep Avery awake since she hadn't had a nap and I didn't want her falling asleep at 6 o'clock. When we got to the park, there were Kaidance and Amanda, so they went with us on our feeding adventure! It was so much fun - can't you tell by Avery's squinty eyes and big grin??

I am so impressed that Avery is actually TOUCHING the calves...I think Lynsey was about this age when Alvin brought Charlie the Calf into the house, into the bathroom, where Lynsey was taking a bath and almost drowned at the horrifying sight of a calf in the house. She didn't like the sight of them outside either.
