Sorry for the lapse in communication - I have been busy enjoying having my hubby back! He made is safe and sound without any problems on Sunday afternoon. We had a nice supper with my family and then Monday he wanted to do something with just our little family, so we took Avery to the Ft. Worth Zoo. It was great - I'll post some picts later. Yesterday, Tuesday, we drove back to Abernathy and it is great to be home again. Things are good here - Brownie has grown, and so have the weeds in the garden! But we got most of those pulled last night.
Today Gabe is back to work. I know he will want to post about his trip - it has taken 3 days of talking and I'm still getting bits of information and stories. There is just so much to say and it takes time to get it all out. You may hear things bit by bit like I have. The trip was a success in many ways.
And Avery and I had a BLAST with my family - they really took good care of us.
Thank you again for all your prayers and love during this month! We are ready to move onto the next phase of our summer - guests! Robyn and Vernon will be here soon and then my sister and her boys are coming for a week. Sounds like fun!

So glad I found you on here. I'm glad Gabe made it home safe and sound. I'm sure it was a wonderful trip! Can't wait to see you. Next time there will be 3 of us, not just 2!! :) Love.
I wasn't meaning to pressure ... I'm sorry if it came across that way! ;) I know that you guys were just catching up. I just hadn't heard, even from my mom, and was just curious to know if he landed. Sorry to sound like a nag. :(
I'm so glad you guys were able to have some days together before he had to go back to work ...to process and to just be together and enjoy. I know I STILL feel like I am processing my trip there ... so I can imagine that it will take him a while, too. ;) So glad you guys had fun with your fam. Hope you enjoy Robyn and Vernon while they are there! And then Leslie and the boys, too.

I'm so glad that he's home and that everything went so well! We can't wait to see you guys and hear all about it!!! And, we're looking forward to all of the fun activities that Avery has planned for us! When she called a few weeks ago, she had a long list of everything we would do together . . . we're going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!
